Terms of Use
Last updated 26 October 2026
These terms apply when you use Trinder, a trading simulator for learning provided by Vanquish (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you downloaded Trinder from the App Store, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
Trinder is a simulator
- Trinder uses virtual money only. You can’t deposit, withdraw, win or lose real money, and practice balances have no cash value.
- Prices in Trinder are simulated. They don’t follow real markets, and results in Trinder don’t predict real-world results.
- Trinder doesn’t connect to any broker or exchange and doesn’t execute real trades.
Not investment advice
Trade ideas in Trinder are written by our team for learning. They’re general, not tailored to you, and they’re not investment, financial, tax or legal advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Real trading involves risk, including losing more than you expect. Before making real financial decisions, do your own research and consider advice from a qualified, regulated adviser.
Your account
- You must be 18 or over to use Trinder.
- Give a valid email address and keep your password private. You’re responsible for activity on your account.
- You can delete your account at any time in the app (You → Delete account). See our Privacy Policy for what happens to your information.
Acceptable use
Don’t misuse Trinder. In particular, don’t:
- try to access other people’s accounts or information, or our systems beyond what the app allows;
- interfere with the service, overload it, or use automated means to access it;
- copy, resell or republish Trinder’s content, or present it as investment advice;
- use Trinder for anything unlawful.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Our content
Trinder, including its ideas, text, design and software, belongs to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the app for your own learning while you follow these terms. Market and company names are used only to identify instruments, and their owners don’t endorse Trinder.
Changes and availability
Trinder is provided free of charge. We may change, pause or stop parts of the service, update ideas, or reset practice data when we need to, for example to fix a problem. We’ll try to give notice of significant changes. If we change these terms, we’ll update the date above, and continuing to use Trinder means you accept the new terms.
Liability
We provide Trinder “as is” and work to keep it accurate and available, but we can’t promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for any loss arising from decisions you make based on Trinder, including real trades, or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
